- Wipe down surfaces, sweep floors regularly
- Dry up moist areas. Dripping faucets and leaky pipes attract roaches, check areas behind toilets, under sinks for moisture. Also fix leaking pipes and faucets.
- Store food properly and where possible used sealed food containers
- Limit dining to one room to reduce food attractants

Signs of roach infestation
You can also take proactive action by looking out for these signs of roaches in your home or business place:
The most common sign. You switch the light on in a
room and see a cockroach darting away. Seeing one means that there
are others, which in turn means infestation.
These dark pieces of shell are pieces of the cockroaches’ exoskeletons falling off as part of their molting.
Their exoskeletons evoke a strong musty odour, indicating that there are many cockroaches present in the property.
